The Wry Way
There's something about growing up in a small town that stays with you. Maybe it's the familiar faces, the slower pace, or the way certain traditions seem to find their way from one generation to the next. Whatever it is, the California foothills have always been home to us, and they've shaped more of who we are than we probably realize.
We're a family of three with deep roots in the California foothills. While horses, rodeos, and the western lifestyle weren't necessarily part of our own childhoods, they've become a big part of the life we've built together. There's something pretty special about watching our daughter grow up with a love for horses, a competitive spirit, and an appreciation for the outdoors. It's a lifestyle we've come to love, and one we're grateful to share as a family.
But while our roots are pretty traditional, our taste has always been a little less predictable. We've always loved the old-school western aesthetic, but we're just as drawn to vintage artwork, darker humor, weathered details, and designs with an unexpected twist. We appreciate things with character, a little history, and enough personality to stand apart from everything else.
That's really where Wry Provisions Co. comes in.
We wanted to create something of our own that brought those influences together. A small, family-owned brand offering vintage-inspired hats and apparel that reflect our love for western nostalgia without feeling confined to it. Some designs are simple and understated, others have a little more attitude, but each one reflects a piece of what makes Wry different.
We're proud of where we come from, excited about what we're building, and grateful for everyone who chooses to be a part of it.
